Guidelines for keyword searches
- DO NOT put the words AND or OR in the keywords fields.
- In the 'ALL' box, place all words or phrases which must
appear.
-
Use the "ANY" box to search for alternate words (e.g. registered OR licensed OR cardiac)
- Separate each key word or phrase with a single space. DO NOT include
punctuation marks in the key words boxes (e.g. commas, periods,
etc.).
- Place double quotes (") around 2 or more words which must appear
together.
For example--> "computer programmer". The system will look
for that exact phrase.
- Do not use single quotes. They will be stripped out of the search.
- If you want to use a wildcard so that all words that start with
certain letters are matched, regardless of their ending, place and
asterisk (*) after the beginning letters (e.g. tele* will return
telephone, telemarketing, telecommunications, etc.)
- DO NOT include "noise words" in your key words list.
Noise words will not be used when searching the database. Samples
are:
